the greetery - merry making day 3

Hey, everyone! Have you been enjoying all of the Christmas inspiration on my blog this week? Today wraps up the product reveals for the Merry Making release at The Greetery and all of the new products are available to purchase tomorrow! Sit back and enjoy the projects that I have to share with you today!

All of the new products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on Friday (tomorrow!), October 9th, 10AM ET at The Greetery.

This adorable mug and cards set are created with the Hug in a Mug die collection, Hug in a Mug Sweet Treats die collection, Hug in a Mug Saucer die collection, and Hug in a Mug Holiday stamp set.

Let's start off with that mug. First of all it's SO cute and second it actually opens up at the top so you can tuck a treat inside of it! I made my cup from red cardstock, stamped the polka dot border detail at the top with white ink, and then put it together. The inside piece is kraft cardstock stamped with the heart swirl in white. I added the steam piece that is cut out from white cardstock and the "chocolate" sprinkles and glittered marshmallows that are a part of the embellishment kit.

The saucer is created from Kraft cardstock and I stamped the pine sprig and berries detail around the edge using the Hug in a Mug Holiday stamp set. The cookies are created with the Hug in a Mug Sweet Treats die collection. I die cut the outside cookies with Kraft cardstock that has a bit of ink blending on the edges and I added white cardstock for the filling along with glitter from the embellishment kit.

For the coordinating card, I filled up a piece of red cardstock with a whole bunch of the snowflake cookies created with the Hug in a Mug die collection, leaving one space open to stamp the sentiment. I added pieces of the sprinkles confetti from the embellishment kit in between the cookies!

There are so many ideas for using this cute mug and coordinating card. You could deliver a sweet treat to a friend, you could create the mugs as place settings for a special meal, or deliver to a teacher with a small gift inside.

We are keeping the sweet treats going with this next card created with the S'more Holiday stamp set + coordinating die and the Graham Cracker Cuts die. This set could be used all year long, because when is it NOT a good time to have s'mores?? My card cold be delivered any time of year along with a package of s'mores ingredients! Yum!

I stamped the marshmallow stick and chocolate using the stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating die. I added the sentiment to the center of a kraft card base and arranged the s'more ingredients around it, including the graham cracker pieces cut out with the Graham Cracker Cuts die.

To finish off the card, I added the plaid border strip along the bottom of the card that is stamped using the Windowpane Plaid Background stamp and sprinkled a few hearts from the sprinkles confetti in the embellishment kit.
