the greetery - winter wanderer day 2

IMG_7378

Hey, everyone! It's the second day of reveals for the Winter Wanderer release at The Greetery. Today, I have three cards to share with you using more of the new products. The first card is one with a holiday theme and then the other two could be used any time of the year.

All of the new products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on Friday, November 27th, 10AM ET at The Greetery.

This first card is created with the new Boho Banner die collection and the new Simply Wonderful stamp set & die. I embossed the 'wonderful' word onto honey cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating die and then set the word onto the banner that is die cut from kraft cardstock. I added the banner to a background that is created with the Knit Wits stencils. I stenciled the first all over knit layer in the same dark green ink as the cardstock and then added the pattern layer in white ink. Using honey and dark green together with kraft is a great boho, pine tree look!

I added a few glittered snowflakes around the banner (they are in the Boho Banner die set too) and stamped the 'it's the most' and 'time of the year' sentiments from the Opposites Attract stamp set above and below the banner respectively in black ink. The black ink does show up better in person even though it looks pretty subtle in the photos.

This next card is perfect for sending to a friend anytime of the year, but you could also swap out the sentiment for one that is holiday themed! I started out with a sparkly background that I created with the Berry Branch stencil. I mixed the champagne Metallix gel with white gold glitter and applied it through the stencil onto dark green cardstock. I did mask off an area of the stencil to leave space for stamping a sentiment.

For the sentiment, I embossed the 'hello' from the Opposites Attract stamp set onto white cardstock in gold (it's actually a sort of champagne color gold that I bought years ago at a stamp shop, but a regular gold would look lovely too) and cut it out with the coordinating die. I stamped the 'dear friend' in the opening on the background and added the 'hello' popped up a bit right above it.

I added flowers and leaves next to the sentiment that are stamped with the Bigger Blooms stamp set and cut out with the coordinating die. The flowers in the stamp set match the ones in the Hoop Wreath set that I shared yesterday, just in a larger size. There are also single leaf and leaf sprig options in the set versus the pine spray that's in the Hoop Wreath set. To finish this card off, I added a bit more sparkle by sprinkling a few sequins across the card.

And finally, this last card is created with the new Macrame Diamonds dies along with the Bigger Blooms and Opposite Attract sets. The new macrame themed die collections are perfect for adding gorgeous texture and patterns to your projects. Layer the dies in a single color, add peeks/pops of color, and/or use lots of colors! For my project, I used kraft cardstock and then layered that over white cardstock to peek through the openings on the background design. You could fill the whole background if you wanted, but I did just a few rows to add the textured border on my card.

For the sentiment, I embossed the 'thank you' from the Opposites Attract stamp set in white on dark green cardstock and then cut it out with the coordinating die. I popped it up on the card and then added flowers and leaves tucked behind it. The flowers and leaves are stamped with the Bigger Blooms stamp set and cut out with the coordinating dies. I stamped the 'a note to say' sentiment above the 'thank you' and then added a few silver gems sprinkled around the sentiment to finish off the design.
