taylored expressions - easter release!

Hey, everyone! Today is the Easter release at Taylored Expressions! I have a big pile of projects to share with you that I created with the new Easter and spring themed products, including a few that I designed: the Good Egg Stamp & Stencil combo set + dies and the Pennant Parade Easter stamp set.

The new products for the Easter release are available to purchase RIGHT NOW in the Taylored Expressions webstore!

This first card is created with the Good Egg Stamp & Stencil Combo set. The set includes a background stamp for the egg patterns and a stencil to add the egg shapes. You can create a whole background of Easter eggs in no time at all and either use the background as a whole or cut out the individual eggs with the coordinating Good Egg dies.

I embossed the egg patterns in white on Sugar Cube cardstock and added the eggs using the stencil and my Blender Brushes with Pink Champagne, Potato Chip, and Confetti Cake inks. Where the inks overlap, it creates more tones to complete the pastel rainbow!

The sentiment is from the Handlettered Easter stamp set and I embossed it in white on Toffee cardstock. It's cut out with the new coordinating dies and I stacked a few die cuts up to pop the sentiment up a bit on my project. I added a few more eggs around the sentiment and those are simply the egg patterns embossed in white on different cardstock colors that are cut out with the Good Egg dies.

This project is featured today over on the Taylored Expressions blog along with a video, so make sure to stop by there and check that out!

This next project is covered with bunnies! I stenciled the bunnies with Sugar Cube ink on Toffee cardstock using the new Oh Hoppy Day stencil. You can now also get matching wooden bunny shapes and pom pom tails! I sponged my bunny with Sugar Cube ink to brighten it up a bit and added the tail with liquid glue - multi medium matte is my liquid glue of choice.

I added the wooden bunny right over one of the stenciled bunnies and added eggs around him that I die cut from extra Easter egg backgrounds I created when I did the project above with the Good Egg Stamp & Stencil Combo set. The sentiment stamped in Oreo ink under the bunny is from my new Pennant Parade - Easter stamp set.

This pair of Mini Slim cards feature the new Playful Plaid Background stamp, the 'Happy Easter' sentiment from the Be Joyful stamp set, pennants from the new Pennant Parade - Easter stamp set, and flowers from the Spring wreath die collection.

I stamped the background with Sugar Cube ink onto Pink Champagne and Potato Chip cardstock that is die cut with a Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets die. The sentiment is embossed in white over the background design on each panel and I added them to Toffee Mini Slim card bases.

The pennants are stamped in Pink Champagne, Potato Chip, Mint Julep, and Confetti Cake inks - keeping with my pastel rainbow theme - and cut out with the coordinating Pennant Parade dies. The pennants are backed with foam squares that are trimmed in half and I used a 1/8" sticky tape across the top of the pennant to add them to pieces of burlap twine. I arranged them on my card fronts and then adhered them in place with the foam squares.

The tiny flowers are the perfect springtime embellishment and are cut out using the Spring Wreath dies. I cut the flowers and leaves from cardstock (Pink Champagne, Potato Chip, and Mint Julep) backed with Stick It double sided adhesive so assembling and adding them to projects was quick and easy. I added three of them to each card and used small Bits & Pieces - Clear Drip Drops for the flower centers.

I, of course, had to create tags for my girls' Easter baskets! I did a similar look to the Mini Slim cards above by stamping the Playful Plaid Background onto Pink Champagne and Potato Chip cardstock with Sugar Cube ink. I cut the patterned cardstock out with the new Pierced Tag Stacklets 2 dies. I love that pierced detail around the edge and they are sized to layer perfectly onto Tag Stacklets 2 die cuts.

I spelled out the girls names using the Cap it Off Alpha dies and I substituted wooden bunnies in to replace an 'A' on each of their names for a fun Eastery look! The 'happy Easter' is from the Pennant Parade - Easter stamp set and I added flowers using the Spring Wreath die collection like I did on the project above.

After Easter, I'll tuck these tags into our scrapbooks with pictures of them from this year's holiday.

Here's one last pile of tags to share for this release. These little bunny tags will be perfect to add to Easter treats and/or gifts! I used the new Pierced Lattice Cutting Plate die with Toffee cardstock and then cut out the tags from that with the Pierced Tag Stacklets 2 dies. I layered the tags onto bases cut out from Pink Champagne, Potato Chip, and Salt Water Taffy cardstock using the Tag Stacklets 2 dies. I love how you can see a peek of color through the larger holes from the cutting plate!

I added wooden bunnies to each of the tags and sentiments from the Pennant Parade - Easter stamp set stamped onto Double-ended Flag Stacklets die cuts. Aren't they adorable tied onto these little Easter baskets?
