taylored expressions - st. patrick's day!

Hey, everyone! There's a St. Patrick's Day mini release happening at Taylored Expressions today! I had a hand in designing a bulk of the products for this mini release and it was so much fun! I hope you enjoy the new Lucky Leprechaun Cling & Clear Combo (+ coordinating die and stencil) and Shamrocks Stamp & Stencil Combo sets that are making their debuts today. There's also a new Mini Strips stamp for St. Patrick's day that has 10 of the luckiest sentiments perfect for your St. Patrick's Day projects.

The new products that I am sharing today are available to purchase RIGHT NOW in the Taylored Expressions webstore!

First up is this pair of cards created with the Lucky Leprechaun Cling & Clear Combo set, Leprechaun Head die, Lucky Leprechaun stencil, and Mini Strips - St. Patrick's Day stamp. I created the background first in a tone on tone look with Granny Smith cardstock and ink. I stamped the background image first and then added the shamrocks with the coordainting stencil and my Blender Brushes. You could change the look of this card quickly by just changing the colors you used on the background!

Next, I stamped the leprechauns onto Sugar Cube cardstock with Oreo ink and added the colored details with the included clear stamp set. I love watching the images come to life with each color that is added! I cut them out with the coordinating Leprechaun Head die and added three of them to each background next to sentiment strips that are stamped with the Mini Strips - St. Patrick's Day stamp and cut out with the Mini Strips die. My finishing touch is glittery shamrocks cut out using the Little Bits - Shamrocks die that I set at the end of each sentiment strip.

This project is also featured today on the Taylored Expressions blog along with a video showing how I created this project from start to finish. Make sure to stop by and check it out!

Next up is this set of tags perfect for attaching to St. Patrick's day treats! To create the tag bases, I used the Shamrocks Stamp & Stencil Combo set for the background pattern. I stamped the stems in Oreo ink and then added the shamrocks using the stencils. They are easy to line up over the stamped image by using the etched patterns on the stencil that line up with the stamped image underneath. I used Peapod ink on one layer and Cilantro on other. The tag bases are cut out using one of the Pennant Stacklets dies - they make great little tags! I added an eyelet and burlap twine at the top to complete the tag look.

On the tags, I added leprechauns that I had stamped and die cut for my previous project and sentiments from the Lucky Leprechaun Cling & Clear Combo set that are stamped onto Sentiment Strip Duo die cuts with Oreo ink. I used the glittery shamrocks again to add a bit of sparkle for a finishing touch!
