taylored expressions - teacher/grad appreciation release

Hey, everyone! There's a release happening at Taylored Expressions today and it's new products that are perfect for teacher appreciation and graduation celebrations. I have a few projects to share using the new products including the I Pick You products that I designed.

The new products that I am sharing today are available to purchase RIGHT NOW in the Taylored Expressions webstore!

(I am also sharing a post today with projects featuring new products for the Spring Fever release at The Greetery - make sure to check it out!)

The end of the school year is quickly approaching and teacher thank you are on my list. I used my new I Pick You Cling & Clear Combo set, die, and stencil to make a pile of thank yous.

I stamped the apple background with Sugar Cube ink and added the handwriting lines with the coordinating stencil, Toffee ink, and a blender brush. I stamped the background again on a piece of Sugar Cube Cardstock with Oreo ink, added color to the apples using the clear stamps, and cut them out with the coordinating die.

The sentiment on the card is created with the new Fill in the Blank - Teacher stamp set. I stamped the 'you' word on a Stitched Banner Stacklets die cut out from Cherry Pop cardstock in Sugar Cube ink and added one of the apples for the 'O'. I stamped the 'thank' word in Oreo ink above it and added the banners to the backgrounds. I added a few more apples above the sentiment and a few Bits & Pieces - Clear Drip Drops scattered down the side of the card.

These cards are ready to go to deliver to teachers!

This project is also featured today on the Taylored Expressions blog along with a video showing how I created this project from start to finish. Make sure to stop by and check it out!

It's a big year in our house - Hana graduates in just over a month from high school! I created this set of graduation cards using her school colors (this design can easily be done with any school color combination) with the new Grad Cap Layered Stencil set, Cap it Off Numbers dies, and Mini Strips - Grad stamp.

The Grad Cap Layered Stencil set if what I used for the background. The caps are added with Oreo ink, the stars with Sugar Cube, and the tassels are added with Deco Foil Transfer Gel. Once the gel was dry, I foiled the tassels - one card I did the red and the other I did in the blue.

I cut out the numbers using the Cap it Off Numbers dies. They are cut out twice, once with plain cardstock and once with a double sided adhesive on the front - I used Stick It. I pressed the adhesive coated number insets onto the foil to get the great two toned effect with the plain cardstock outline. I added the numbers to banners that are cut out and stamped using the Banner Year Stamp & Die Combo set. The banners are added to the card front, popped up with foam squares.

The sentiments are from the Mini Strips - Grad stamp, are stamped with Sugar Cube ink on Oreo cardstock, cut out with the Mini Strips die, and added to the card with foam sticky strips. A few glittery stars are the perfect final touch to this set of graduation cards!
