the greetery - man made

Hey, everyone! There's a new release at The Greetery this week and the theme is perfect for celebrating the men in our lives - and more! I have a few projects to share with you today that I created with the new products from the Man Made release.

All of the new products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on Tuesday (tomorrow!), May 25th, 10AM ET at The Greetery.

This first card is perfect for Father's Day. I used the new Dad Squared stamps and dies to create the sentiment that is tucked into a frame cut out using the Text Box die. The 'Dad' word is cut out using the die and the 'Happy Father's Day' is from the stamp set. The 'No. 1' is from the Sentiments Squared stamp set that features more sentiments that coordinate with the Text Box die.

There are several new products to create backgrounds in this release that I know I will use again and again! I used two of them on this card. The Big Plans stamp looks like blueprints and I stamped it onto kraft cardstock using a white pigment ink - I love the look! The plaid background is created with the Tartan Builder Diagonal stencil set. I stenciled the pattern onto a gray cardstock using gray, navy, and white inks.

You'll notice I used both the Big Plans stamp and Tartan Builder Diagonal stencils again on this card. I actually stenciled and stamped up a bunch of these backgrounds before creating my projects and it was fun to mix and match what I had created on my projects. This time the Big Plans stamp is stamped onto gray cardstock with white pigment ink.

The hammer, nails, and 'you nailed it!' sentiment are from the new Dad Jokes Nailed It stamp set. I stamped the hammer and sentiment onto white cardstock and cut them out using the coordinating dies. Once I had the pieces arranged on my card, I stamped the nails scattered around the design with a dark gray ink. The finishing touch is the strip of plaid at the bottom of the card.

This last card features the new Reflections stamp set. It has multiple stamps to create the trees and water image. It's so easy to use and the result is amazing! I can see using this woodsy image for so many occasions.

Once the image was stamped, I added the 'happy birthday...' sentiment that is stamped onto the smaller Wood Slices die cut. I stitched it to the side of the card front and tucked a few pine springs above and below the wood slice that are cut out with the BotaniCuts Pine Bough dies. I added a few strips of the stenciled plaid to the top and bottom of the card to complete the woodsy look.
