taylored expressions - mixed blooms & itty bitty tags!

Hnichols-ittybittytags-1-TE

Hey, everyone! Today is a new release at Taylored Expressions and it includes sets that were previously TE exclusives that you could earn with a purchase of $100 or more in the TE webstore. Now those sets are available to purchase and there are a few new dies to coordinate with some of them. I have a set of tags to share with you today that I created with a few of the products: Itty Bitty Sentiments stamp set, Itty Bitty tags 1 die collection, Mixed Blooms Layered Stencil set, and Mixed Blooms dies.

The new products for the TE Exclusives release are available to purchase RIGHT NOW in the Taylored Expressions webstore!

I created the set of tags so that you could add just about any of the sentiments to them from the Itty Bitty Sentiments stamp set. The tags would be great to package up as a gift set, but I will probably just keep them in my stash to grab when I need one!

I started off by stenciling the floral design using the Mixed Blooms Layered Stencil set on Pink Champagne, Confetti Cake, and Spearmint cardstock. I used Avocado ink for the leaves, ink to match the cardstock color for one layer of the flowers, and Sugar Cube ink for the other layer of flowers, applying all of the ink to the cardstock with my Blender Brushes. Once the design was stenciled on all three colors of cardstock, I cut out tags from them using the Pierced Tag Stacklets 2 die collection and then layered those onto Toffee cardstock tags cut out with the Tag Stacklets 2 die collection. I added a reinforcement at the top of the tags that are cut out from Sugar Cube cardstock using a Tag Reinforcements die and added burlap twine for tying the tags onto gifts.

The sentiments from the Itty Bitty Sentiments stamp set are stamped with Oreo ink onto Toffee tags that I cut out with the Itty Bitty Tags 1 die collection. I attached the tiny tags to the larger tags using a jump ring! I did add a foam square behind the tags to hold them in place on the larger tags. The larger flowers on the tags are cut out using the Mixed Blooms dies. I cut out the flowers from matching cardstock colors and inked the edges with the same color ink a bit of extra dimension. The leaves are cut out from Avocado cardstock, I added Bits & Pieces - Clear Drip Drops for the flower centers, and attached the flowers to the tags with a foam square that was cut in half.

**This project will be featured over on the Taylored Expressions blog this Thursday along with a video showing how I created the tags. Make sure to check it out!
