the greetery - leaf & blade autumn collection day 2
September 09, 2021
Hey, everyone! It's the second day of reveals for the Leaf & Blade Autumn Collection release at The Greetery. Today, I have a few more projects to share with you using more of the new products featuring fall leaves, branches, and more!
All of the new products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on Friday, September 10th, 10AM ET at The Greetery.
I can never have enough stamps of leaves and foliage and so you know I love the new Fall Foliage stamp set! To start off, I used one of the branches stamped repeatedly across a piece of kraft cardstock with the same color of ink to create a tone on tone background. I stamped more leaves from the set in a variety of honey, orange, and green inks on kraft cardstock and cut them out with the coordinating dies.
The sentiment is created with the Let's Have a Word: Autumn dies and the backer piece is cut out using the die from the coordinating hot foil/die set from vellum (I don't have a hot foil machine at the moment (!) so I just used the die from the set). I tucked all of the leaves so they are coming out from behind and going all around the 'autumn' word and added the 'hello' stamped on a strip of honey cardstock cut out with a Pretext Banners die.

I am so excited that the Curio collection is expanding with the new Curio: Autumn Findings dies! I wanted to create a card similar to the one that I did in July using the Curio products, but adding in the new fall items. This time, I decided to tip the Curio: Divider & Details die onto its side to do a landscape card. I cut out all of the elements from different fall colors of cardstock and added blending using a dark brown ink on most everything.
The compartments are filled with different fall items, some are attached right to the card front and some are popped up with foam squares to add extra dimension. I combined the 'hello' and 'autumn' words from the Curio: Labels stamp set to create the sentiment that is stamped onto a label die cut from the Curio: Divider & Details die collection. The tiny paperclip cut out from gray cardstock is such a fun finishing touch!
Supplies:
Finally, for today, is a card created with the new Rustic Wreath products. I loved putting together the dimensional wreath using the Rustic Wreath Twigs dies. It definitely takes a little time to assemble, but just look at the results! I cut out the branches from kraft cardstock and used blender brushes to add dark brown ink shading to them. I couldn't resist cutting out a bunch of little leaves from the Curio: Autumn Findings die collection to tuck into the wreath branches.
I stamped the sentiment using the Rustic Wreath stamp set into the center of the wreath and added the panel that is cut out with a Nordic Frames die to a honey card base. I finished off the card with burlap twine that is wrapped around the bottom of the card.
