Hey, everyone! There's a new release happening this week at The Greetery and the theme is the Leaf & Blade Autumn Collection. I love all of the botanical foliage pieces of this release that are perfect for crafting with a fall, harvest, or Thanksgiving theme. You'll also be able to use many of the new items throughout the year too. I have a few projects to share with you today and tomorrow that I created with the new autumn products.
All of the new products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on Friday, September 10th, 10AM ET at The Greetery.
The new Pampas Grass stamp set features the fluffy grass that you commonly see in the fall in the fields - and actually this is one of my daughter Tacy's favorite things! When we go out for walks, she will spot the fluffy grass like this and loves to pick a big bunch of it.
I had fun playing around with different layers of color to stamp the grass before I ended up with what I used on my card. I stamped kraft, honey, and brown inks all together with the different stamp layers. Multi-step stamps like this one are always magic to me as I watch the images come to life with each impression!
The background of the card is stamped with the Fond of Foliage Background stamp on a honey colored cardstock using the same color of ink for a tone on tone look. I also added a strip of kraft cardstock at the bottom of the card that is stamped with the same background. The sentiment on the card is from the All Blessings Flow stamp set.
This next card features the new BotaniCuts Ginkgo dies. I cut out the leaves from an orange cardstock and two different shades of green and then added shading using a blender brush with dark brown ink. Spatters are added to the leaves with dark brown and white inks and I love the rustic touch that they add!
The sentiment is from the new Grace Upon Grace stamp set and is stamped with white ink on kraft cardstock. I arranged the ginkgo leaves all around it, popping some of the leaves up with foam squares to add lots of texture and dimension.
This last card is created with the new Layered Leaves stamp set. I loved building the stamped branch image using the stamps and the die cuts the image right to the very edge, making it look pretty realistic! I arranged two of the branches above and below the 'love is in the air' sentiment that I put together with the Let's Have a Word: Love die and a sentiment from the Fall Foliage stamp set (I'll share more with this set tomorrow!)
The strip at the bottom of the card is stamped with the Fond of Foliage Background stamp on honey cardstock using honey ink. I love how the honey color really adds a warm touch to the card!
