taylored expressions - create-in-quads snowflake

Hey, everyone! I have a few sets of cards to share with you today that I created with the new Create-in-Quads Snowflake Layering Stencil set from Taylored Expressions. This innovative stenciling set allows you to create four different, multi-colored background at one time. I am always a fan of anything snowflake and really love this new set! The stencil set along with a few new sentiment stamp set options is debuting today!

I stenciled the snowflakes for this set of cards on the Toffee Create-in-Quads paper pack. The paper is trimmed to 8" x 10.5" and lines up perfectly with the alignment guides on the stencils so that all you need to do after stenciling is cut the paper into quarters - no extra trimming on the edges!

The snowflakes are stenciled with Sugar Cube, Blue Raspberry, and Blue Corn inks for the first three layers and then I added sparkle on that last layer with Happy Medium - Gold Glitter.

The sentiments are from the new Get Cozy stamp set and are embossed in gold onto Blue Raspberry cardstock that I cut out with a Stitched Banner Stacklets die.

The sentiment banners are popped up on the background panels and then I adhered the panels to Sugar Cube card bases. The final touch is a few Bits & Pieces - Snowflakes sprinkled around the sentiment banners.

Supplies:

I used background panels created with the Create-in-Quads Snowflake Layering Stencil set on a set of mini slim sized (3.5" x 6") cards! The snowflakes are stenciled onto Sugar Cube cardstock with Cherry Pop, Avocado, Olive, and Toffee inks and then cut out with a Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets die. The second largest die in the set is the perfect size to cut out the card panels and then I added them to Toffee top fold mini slim card bases.

The sentiments are from the new Winter Blessings stamp set, are embossed in gold on Cherry Pop cardstock, and are cut out with the coordinating die collection.

I popped up the sentiments with foam tape to add them to the cards and then tucked a few snowflakes cut out with the Make a Snowflake die collection around them.

For a touch of extra shimmer and shine to the cards, I added Bits & Pieces - Gold Drip Drops around the sentiments and snowflakes.
