I am really loving the look of pairing the eucalyptus stenciled with the Modern Eucalyptus Layering Stencil set from the kit with a frame put together with the Gemstone Thin Frame Cutting Plate die. I cut out the frames from gold foil cardstock and used 2 frames that are right next to each other on the die, flipping one of the frames 180 degrees to create the gemstone look. I made a larger frame to use on the card and a smaller one to use on the tag.

The eucalyptus is stenciled with Mint Julep, Spearmint, Poblano Pepper, and Avocado inks. I added a layer of Happy Medium - Gold Glitter over the Avocado layer to add a touch of sparkle and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

The backgrounds on both the card and tag are stamped with the Linen Background stamp with Sugar Cube ink on Toffee cardstock. After adding splatters, I stamped the sentiments with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink.

I used the 2 of the larger eucalyptus on the card and 2 of the smaller size on the tags, popping them up with foam adhesive for extra dimension.

This project will be featured over on the Taylored Expressions blog on Thursday (6/2) along with a video. Make sure to stop by and check it out!

I have had an anniversary card gap in my card stash for sometime and decided to remedy the situation by creating this set of cards! For this card design, I foiled the geometric wreath design from the Foil It - Modern Eucalyptus pack with Bronze Foil using my Minc machine and then cut an opening in the frame with a Stitched Circle Stacklets die. I layered the panel over Toffee cardstock and stamped the 'happy anniversary' sentiment into the opening. The foiled panel is backed with window acetate and adhered down with foam sticky strips to create a shaker card that is filled with Snow Flurries sequins.

The eucalyptus is stenciled with Toffee, Mushroom, Avocado, and Olive inks and cut out with the coordinating dies. I added the eucalyptus around the frame with foam squares, using one of each of the sizes on each card. To add a bit of a rustic touch, I had strips I had made with the Wood Plank background stamp to look like weathered wood from a previous project that I added to the bottom part of the card. I think they are the perfect finishing touch!
