I have a video featured today over on the Taylored Expression blog featuring the cards that I created with the new kit. Watch below:

In the video, I show what is included in The Bee’s Knees Cardmaking Kit. The bumblebees I used for my projects are created using The Bee’s Knees Stamp & Stencil Combo set on both Sugar Cube and Toffee cardstock using the background stamp and stencils. I kept the bumblebee background intact that is created on the Toffee cardstock and cut out individual bees from the bumblebees created on the Sugar Cube cardstock. Then, I created two card designs with the kit, using the Honeycomb Cluster die and What’s the Buzz? stamp set to put the card designs together.

Here's a closer look at my projects:

It’s so much fun to experiment with stamping and stenciling the bumblebees on different colors of cardstock like I did for this set of cards with Toffee cardstock! The bumblebee stripes and antennae are stamped with Oreo Ink and the rest of the details are added with the stencils: the bodies with Honey ink, the eyes with Oreo ink, and the wings with Sugar Cube ink. Sentiments from the What’s the Buzz? stamp set are cut out with a Stitched Banner Stacklets die and layered over a Honey cardstock Honeycomb Cluster die cut along with a few individual bumblebees.

The individual bumblebees are created on Sugar Cube cardstock with the same colors as on the Toffee except the wings. The wings are stenciled with Salt Water Taffy ink and I added a layer of Happy Medium – Iridescent Glitter over the top to add sparkle. Honey cardstock panels with portions of the outline piece from the Honeycomb Cluster die added to the top and bottom create the card backgrounds. The bumblebees are added to the backgrounds along with images and sentiments from the What’s the Buzz? stamp set.
