taylored expressions - halloween!

Hey, everyone! It's the Halloween release today at Taylored Expressions! I can't believe it's already that time of year to start crafting for Halloween. There are so many fun new products and I have lots to share with you today!

Starting things off is this trio of cards created with the G-G-G-Ghost Stamp & Stencil Combo and Ghost Gang Die & Clear Combo sets.

I stamped the background stamp in Lime Zest, Passion Fruit, and Candy Corn inks onto Sugar Cube cardstock and added the faces using the coordinating stencil with Oreo ink. The background stamp is a bit taller so it works perfectly to create Mini Slim sized cards (3.5" x 6"). I cut out the backgrounds with a Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets die and added a window opening to each one with the smaller circle die from the Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies - Circle set. The backgrounds are added to Top Folding Toffee Mini Slim card bases.

In the window opening on each card, I added a few ghosts that are cut out with the Ghost Gang dies from Sugar Cube cardstock and have faces added with the coordinating clear stamps in Oreo ink. The sentiments are also from the clear stamp set and I finished the everything off with a few Bits & Pieces - Clay Stars scattered across the card.

This collection of cards and tags were created with the Create-in-Quads Halloween Layering Stencil set. The stencil set includes two all over pattern backgrounds and two larger Halloween images that you can mix and match or use on their own for your crafty Halloween creations!

This set of Halloween shaker cards are created by pairing the larger images with the backgrounds. I stenciled the designs with Candy Corn, Oreo, Passion Fruit, and Lime Zest inks, adding sparkle to the Lime Zest layer with Happy Medium - Iridescent Glitter. The shaker element is created with a frame cut from Oreo cardstock with the Stitched Frame Stacklets 1 die collection and the shaker is filled with Bits & Pieces - Clay Stars and the new Bits & Pieces - Halloween Stars & Sparkles. The sentiments on each of the cards from the new Simple Strips - Halloween stamp are embossed with Black Sparkle embossing powder on Sugar Cube cardstock and cut out with the Simple Strips - Asymmetrical die.

You know I had to sneak a few Halloween tags into the mix! The tag bases are cut out with the Tag Stacklets 2 die collection and to make the tags into shakers, I cut out a frame using the largest Tag Stacklets 2 die and the second largest Pierced Tag Stacklets 2 die. Other than that, everything else is put together similarly to how I created the cards.

How cute are these Halloween treats??? The precut Halloween Candy Capsules are easy to assemble and perfect for filling with Halloween treats and/or small gifts. There are three fun Halloween pattern options and then I had fun adding extras to embellish them!

I tied black and white twine on the box ends to secure them closed and then added a sparkly 'boo' to each one that are cut out with the Boo Script + Backer die collection. I cut the 'boo' out from black glitter cardstock and added them to a few different cardstock colored backers: Candy Corn, Passion Fruit, and Lime Zest. The sentiments are from the Simple Strips - Halloween stamp and are embossed with the Black Sparkle embossing powder. The final touch is a cute ghost cut out and stamped with the Ghost Gang Die & Clear Combo set.
