taylored expressions - perfect present-ation!

Hey, everyone! There's a new release today at Taylored Expressions! This release is all about adding holiday trimmings to gift wrapping, gift cards, home decor, and more! I have a few projects to share with you that I created with the new products.

First up is a new die collection to add stitching to cute little trees that you can turn into tags or treat wraps. There are three different stitching dies in the Get Thready - Tree Tag die collection for the trees and I used metallic embroidery floss to stitch the different designs. I also added silver beads from my stash to my stitching along with Bits & Pieces - Silver Drip Drops to add extra shimmer and shine. The stars on the tops of the trees are cut out from silver glitter cardstock.

To create the tags, the trees are added to the tree base from the Get Thready - Tag Tree die collection. The tag base is cut out from Toffee cardstock, tree trunks are cut out of Mocha cardstock, and the stitched trees are added with foam squares to pop them up a bit from the tag. At the top of the tree tag I added the 'a gift for you' sentiment from the Itty Bitty Sentiments - Holiday stamp set onto a die cut tag from the Itty Bitty Tags 1 die collection. The tiny tag is threaded onto burlap twine at the top of the tree tag.

To create the treat wraps, I cut out the wrap die from the Tree Treat Wrap die collection out of Toffee cardstock and added the stitched trees to the front of the folded wrap. I adhered the top of the tree with a bit of adhesive and punched a hole to tie on the tiny tags to the tree tops with burlap twine.  The base of the treat wrap is a walnut wood tree trunk - it's the perfect finishing touch!

This fun collection of a card, gift card envelopes, and tags are created with the Santa's Suit die collection. The die collection includes three sizes of belt buckles and two sizes of buttons to create a fun Santa suit look on various project sizes! For my projects, I added the elements to a Cherry Pop card background, small red gift card sized envelopes, and tags cut out with the Tag Stacklets 2 die collection from Cherry Pop cardstock. I cut out all of the buckles from gold foil cardstock, the buttons from black glitter cardstock, and cut strips of cardstock for the belts from Oreo cardstock. I had to dress up the look with a bit of holly cut out with the Peppermint Kisses Stencil & Die Combo set from Olive and red glitter cardstock. The sentiments stamped onto the projects are all from the Itty Bitty Sentiments - Holiday stamp set.

Finally, here is a trio of gifts that I dressed up with the new Pretty Packages Gift Wrap Kit. There are so many fun pieces to this kit and I loved the rustic touches that they added to the gifts.

There is a pretty black ribbon printed with gold holiday words in the kit and I tied that around one of my gifts. The cute snowman ornament is created with beads included in the kit and I tucked that under the bow for an adorable present topper. There is a collection of tags in the kit and I embossed them with sentiments from the All Tucked In - Christmas stamp set. To embellish the tags, I embossed wooden shapes from the kit with gold embossing powder and added them to the tags along with a few Bits & Pieces - Gold Drip Drops.

For this package, I tied jute twine from the kit around it and added a jute twine bow. Tucked into the bow is a pine sprig with a pinecone and bit of ribbon added to it. To finish things off I added another snowman ornament and tag.

Even the smallest gifts can be stepped up with elements of the kit! I tied jute twine in a bow around this package and added the pine sprig and tag to it - I love the look of the black tag with the gold embossing!
