Hey, everyone! There's a new kit debuting today at Taylored Expressions! This new kit is coffee themed with a fun coffee cup background, coffee themed sentiments, and more! I tag teamed with Taylor to design this kit and fun fact: neither Taylor or I are coffee drinkers...! I personally am a tea drinker. But, we both have special people in our life who are huge coffee fans... my parents, husband, and daughter just to name a few! I have a a few projects to share today that I created with the kit.

Even though I am not a coffee drinker, I am a big fan of coffee cups and mugs for sure! I designed the Perk Up! Stamp & Stencil Combo set to create a whole background of cups in all sorts of fun colors and patterns. I embossed the background stamp (the cup patterns) in white on Sugar Cube cardstock and stenciled the cups over the top.

The ink colors I used to stencil the cups: Pink Champagne shaded with Guava, Macaron shaded with Dried Fig, Mint Julep shaded with Spearmint, and Confetti Cake shaded with Cookie Monster. I used the darker shade for each color to stencil the cup handles and lips.

I left the background intact for this card, adding a Toffee cardstock frame cut out with the A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate die, the "May your coffee..." sentiment from the Coffee Create Repeat stamp set (cut out with the coordinating die), and a few single cup popped up with foam squares around the sentiment.

For this card, I stamped and stenciled the coffee cups in the same way as the first card, but then cut the cups out with the coordinating dies. I added them stacked into a frame that is cut out with the Frame in Frame 3 die collection.

The background of the card is stamped with the coffee beans using Toffee ink on Toffee cardstock and the steam at the tops of the cups is stamped with Sugar Cube ink. Both images are part of the Hug in a Mug stamp set.

The sentiment is from the Coffee Create Repeat stamp set and is stamped with Nocturne Versafine Clair ink and cut out with the coordinating die.
