taylored expressions - easter release

Hey, everyone! There's a new release today at Taylored Expressions featuring products for Easter and spring! I have a few projects to share with you today that I created with a few of them - including a new die collection that I designed.

First up is a trio of the cutest treat wraps created with the new Bunny Treat Wrap Die & Clear Combo set! I cut out the bunnies from Toffee cardstock and added the stamped faces using Nocturne Versafine Clair ink for the eyes and mouth and Cupcake ink for the cheeks. I added the white highlight to the eyes with a white acrylic paint pen. The inside ears and nose are cut out of Cherry Blossom wool felt and the bows are cut from Salt Water Taffy, Banana Cream Pie, and Macaron cardstock.

You can leave the wrap open on the inside or add the insert to create a box to hold treats or a small gift. I did add the insert into my treat wraps and adhered the ears together at the top of the wrap. The tag is cut out with a die from the A2 Layer Stacklets die collection and is added with burlap twine through a small hole punched at the top of one of the ears. I stamped a polka dot pattern from the Tag Team - Easter stamp set on one end of the tag (matching the ink color with the bow color) and the 'just for you' sentiment from the stamp set in the Bunny Treat Wrap Die & Clear Combo set on the other.

I stamped the bunny backgrounds in Salt Water Taffy, Macaron, and Banana Cream Pie inks and added the tails using the stencil with Happy Medium - Fresh Snow that I sprinkled with Sugar Cube glitter.

The sentiments are from the Easter Egg-stras stamp set and I embossed them in white on vellum strips. I wrapped the strips around the backgrounds, adhering them on the back. The finishing touch on the cards is tiny Easter eggs cut out using the Gnome Bunny - Dress Up die collection. I cut them out of Salt Water Taffy, Banana Cream Pie, and Macaron cardstock to coordinate with the stamped backgrounds.

Finally, I have a bunch of Easter basket tags to share created with my new Get Thready - Easter eggs dies! The stitching dies coordinate with several of  the stencils in the Egg-stra Special Die & Stencil Combo set. Now you can decorate Easter eggs with stenciling and stitching!

I cut the eggs out from Sugar Cube cardstock and stenciled the patterns using Salt Water Taffy, Banana Cream Pie, and Macaron inks. I picked out a few embroidery floss colors to match my ink colors and added the stitching. I used the backstitch, running, stitch, and cross stitch to embroider my eggs.

The eggs are added to tags that I cut out using the Pierced Tag Stacklets 2 die collection (for the backgrounds cut out from Salt Water Taffy, Banana Cream Pie, and Macaron cardstock) and Tag Stacklets 2 die collection (of the tag bases cut out from Toffee cardstock). The tag backgrounds are impressed with the Diamonds Piercing Plate. I punched the holes on the tags with a 1/4" hole punch and added the circle reinforcements cut out with the Tag Reinforcements die collection.

The 'happy Easter' sentiments are from the Joyful Joyful stamp set, are embossed in white, and cut out with the coordinating die. I added a few clear drip drops around the eggs and added burlap twine to the tops of the tags to finish them off.
