The Seaside Escape Cardmaking Kit is available to purchase right now in the Taylored Expressions webstore!

The star of the kit is the Triple Slim - At the Beach Layering Stencil & Clear set. It creates three Mini Slim sized backgrounds featuring a sailboat, seashells, and a lighthouse. I stenciled the designs with Cookie Monster (shaded with Blue Raspberry), Honey (shaded with Sweet Potato Pie), Cotton Candy (shaded with Snow Cone), and Blueberry (shaded with Blue Corn) inks on Toffee cardstock.

I added splatters to everything with Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleed Proof White ink and Chocolate Truffle liquid watercolor. For extra detail, I used the Triple Slim - At the Beach Accessories die collection to cut out beach sand, clouds, and a sun.

I added the sand to the lower right corner of this card, that features the sailboat, along with a seashell and a bit of sparkle with a few Bits & Pieces - Teal Glitter Drops. The sun and clouds are perfect additions to the sky along with the 'Seas the Day!' sentiment that is stamped with Nocturne Versafine Clair ink on Sugar Cube cardstock with the You're a Treasure stamp set and cut out with the coordinating die.

The stenciled seashell panel has a coordinating die that you can purchase outside of the kit to cut out all of the seashells at one time. I added sand pieces to the bottom corners of a Toffee cardstock background and added the die cut seashells to the panel to look like they were washing into the shore.

There are Teal Glitter Drops sprinkled throughout the seashells and the 'You're a Treasure' sentiment.

For this last card that features the lighthouse, I added a sand piece to the lower left corner of the background panel along with a seashell and a few Teal Glitter Drops. A few clouds are added to the sky along with the 'sending love & light' sentiment.

All of the background panels for the cards are added to Mini Slim card sized panels (3.5" x 6") that are cut out from Tropical Punch cardstock with the Mini Slim Layer Stacklets die collection. These panels are added to Toffee Mini Slim card bases - I did top fold cards for the vertical formats and a side fold for the horizontal format.
