taylored expressions - foil it!

Hey, everyone! There's a new release today at Taylored Expressions and it's all things shimmer and shine! New Foil It panel designs and the new Foil Magic Shim are debuting today! I have several shimmery projects to share with you today. The Foil Magic Shim is amazing and I love the results with my foiling!

This first pair of cards is created with the new Foil It - Picked Posies panels. I designed this Foil It pack to coordinate with the Picked Posies stamp set that I designed a few years ago and it includes 4 different designs (3 of each.) I foiled two of the designs using Champagne Deco Foil along with sentiments from the Foil It - Hello Lovely pack. I colored the images using OLO markers:
- large flower (coral) petals: OR 2.3, OR 2.5
- medium flower (gold) petals: YO 2.3. YO 2.5, YO 2.7
- small flower (pink) petals: R 0.1, R 0.2
- flower centers (gold): YO 2.3, YO 2.7
- greenery: YG 8.5, YG 8.7
- outline shadow: WG 0
I framed each of the panels using a thin frame cut out from Toffee cardstock with the A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate die and then added a few splatters with Chocolate Truffle liquid watercolor and Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleed Proof White ink. The panels are added to Toffee card bases along with the foiled Hello Lovely sentiments that are cut out with the coordinating dies.

This next set of cards is full of color and shimmer! I started off by creating the card backgrounds with the Foil It - Catch Some Rays panels, foiling one with Gold Shattered Glass Deco Foil and the other with Rainbow Shattered Glass Deco Foil and then blending Snow Cone ink to add color with a blender brush.
The rainbows are done by pairing the Foil it - Make a Rainbow panels with the Masking Stencils - Make a Rainbow set. One is foiled with Gold Deco Foil and the other with Mystic Rainbow Deco Foil. I stenciled the rainbows using Bubblegum (shaded with Dragonfruit), Mango (shaded with Candy Corn), Kiwi (shaded with Dill Pickle), and Cotton Candy (shaded with Snow Cone) inks. I fussy cut out the rainbows and added clouds cut out with a die from the Rainbow Cloud Duo die collection.
The sentiments are from the Foil It - Boho Hellos panels. I foiled the 'hi there' sentiment with Mystic Rainbow Deco Foil and the 'oh happy day' sentiment with Gold Deco Foil. When I put the cards together, I alternated the elements with the rainbow foiling and the gold foiling on each card.
