taylored expressions - new colors part 2!

Hey, everyone! There's a new release today at Taylored Expressions of FOUR new colors - it's the second time releasing new colors this year! Huckleberry (a dark jewel tone purple), Sour Gummy (a pretty teal blue), Jalapeño (the perfect woodsy green), and Cinnamon (the best toasty brown) are joining the Taylored Expressions rainbow. I have two autumn themed projects to share with you today: one showcasing the new ink colors and one showcasing the new cardstock colors.

This first card features three of the new colors mixed in with a few favorites to create a beautiful fall card with one of the designs from the Triple Slim Falling for You Layering Stencil set. The design is stenciled onto the coordinating Foil It - Falling for You panel that is foiled with Copper Deco Foil. I used a few colors on each of the first three layers of the stencil: Jalapeño & Sweet Potato Pie, Mulled Wine & Huckleberry, Toffee & Honey, and then finished the last stencil layer with Cinnamon.

The 'give thanks' sentiment from the Happy Harvest stamp set is embossed in white, cut out with the coordinating die, and I added it to the panel layered onto a leaf die cut. The leaf is cut out using the Mosaic Beech Leaf die collection from Jalapeño cardstock. An extra layer of Jalapeño cardstock peeks out from under the stenciled layer and the card is finished off with a Toffee Top Fold Mini Slim card base.

This card showcases all of the new colors of cardstock! I cut out various leaves from each color with several different dies: Mosaic Maple Leaf from Huckleberry cardstock, Mosaic Oak Leaf from Jalapeño cardstock, and Mosaic Beech Leaf from Sour gummy and Cinnamon cardstock. I added shading to the solid leaf die cuts with Mocha ink and the base of each leaf before adding the detail piece layered over the top. All of the leaves are also splattered with Chocolate Truffle liquid watercolor and Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleed Proof White ink.

The leaves are added to a Toffee cardstock panel with regular and foam adhesives to pop the leaves up at different heights to add dimension. I trimmed the leaves even with the edges of teh panel. The 'autumn blessings' sentiment from the Happy Harvest stamp set is embossed in white on Toffee cardstock, cut out with the coordinating die and added to the design. I added the panel to a Huckleberry Mini Slim card base.
