taylored expressions - fun with foiling!

Hey, everyone! It's release day at Taylored Expressions and it's filled with all sorts of new foils and Foil It panels! I have several projects to share with you today!

I used the Foil It - Garden Gallery panels for this trip of cards and did a technique to foil multiple colors of foil at the same time on the panels. The border on the panel is foiled with the new TE Fun Foil in gold and the leafy branches are foiled with the new TE Fun Foil in Lime Zest. I used a light table to trace a line on a piece of the gold foil right inside the border on the panel and then cut out the center of the foil piece with scissors. Then, I cut a piece of the Lime Zest foil to fit over the top of the leafy branch. I laid both pieces of foil on the panel, covering the border and leafy branch, and sent it through my Minc machine to foil the design. It's a simple effect with a stunning result!

The sentiments on the cards are from the Foil It - Modern Sentiment Labels panels. I die cut the sentiments I wanted to use with the coordinating Modern Sentiment Labels dies and foiled the sentiments with gold foil. The sentiments are layered on a piece of vellum cut out with the new Modern Sentiment Labels Backers dies. I adhered the sentiments to my foiled Garden Gallery panels with foam adhesive, added the panels to Toffee card bases, and finished them off with a few Bits & Pieces - Gold Drip Drops scattered down the card front.

This set of cards was created with the new Foil it - In the Garden panels that coordinate with the previously released Triple Slim - In the Garden Layering Stencil set. I foiled the panels with the new TE Fun Foil in champagne and then added the stenciling to the designs using my Bitty Blender Brushes using Avocado (shaded with Olive), Guava (shaded with Mulled Wine), Pineapple (shaded with Honey), and Macaron (shaded with Dried Fig) inks.

The sentiments are from the Foil It - Sentiment Strips panels. I die cut the sentiments using coordinating dies from the Sentiment Strips die collection and foiled them with the champagne foil. The strips are added to the panels with foam adhesive and added to Toffee Mini Slim card bases with an additional layer of Sugar Cube cardstock. The final touch on this trio of cards is little flowers that I cut out with the How Does Your Garden Grow die collection from Dried Fig cardstock with Gold Glitter Drops for the flower centers.
