Hnichols-tbt-vol3-TE

Hey, everyone! It's Throwback Thursday again today at Taylored Expressions and we are releasing a few more products that were previously exclusives that you could earn along with a few new coordinating products. I have projects to share that I created with products from the Petal Pop collection and the Fanfare Cutting Plate.

The products for today's Throwback Thursday release are available to purchase RIGHT NOW in the Taylored Expressions webstore!

I decided that the cute flowers from the Petal Pop die collection would make the cutest tags! I cut the flowers out from Snow Cone cardstock and cut the centers out using the round die in the set. I cut a second flower from Pineapple cardstock to layer behind the Snow Cone flower and used the Pull to Open die on the Pineapple layer behind the flower center to add a way to access the candy that I put into it. I used mini jawbreakers that I had picked up at a candy shop during a recent trip and they are contained in the Shaker Bubbles that are perfectly sized to fit into the centers of the flowers. It's such a fun and interactive option!

To finish off the tags I added leaves cut out of Sweet Basil cardstock, cute bumblebees put together with the dies included in the Petal Pop die collection, sentiments stamped with Nocturne Versafine Clair ink on Sugar Cube cardstock and cut out with the coordinating dies, and eyelets at the top of the flowers to add twine for tying the tags onto a gifts.

Next, I created a coordinating card with the Petal Pop die collection, layering the flower onto a Toffee cardstock background that is impressed with the Fanfare Cutting Plate. I love the texture it adds and can see myself reaching for this Cutting Plate to use with projects for all sorts of occasions. Just like on the tags, I added a few bees along with the 'thank you' sentiment from the Pop Sentiments stamp set.

I framed the design with a Toffee cardstock frame cut out with the A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate die and the final touch on my card is Bits & Pieces - Black Rhinestones scattered around the flower.
